The CURA team layered up and walked/ran in support of the Arthritis Foundation in the 2019 Jingle Bell Run in DC on December 7, 2019. The CURA Cares team, included Jingle Bell Run committee member and team captain Kellsie Brannen, Erin Buckley, Jim Buckley, Kathie Buckley, Evin Coukos, Casey Dillon, Alex Dinkel, Shawn Meddock, Thy-Ann Nguyen, Rebecca Fantozzi, Finley Leezer, Scott Leezer, Sarah Sonies, Anne Woodbury, Connor Woodbury, and Tyler Woodbury.
Arthritis is the number one cause of disability in the country. Every day the Foundation works towards finding a cure for this disease that affects over 50 million Americans – 1 in every 5 adults and over 300,000 children – and the numbers keep growing. CURA was excited to be the fifth highest contributor to the over $44,000 the Jingle Bell Run event raised this year.
