The Solution
Defined the PKD Foundation’s congressional engagement strategy, identifying legislative priorities and monitoring the legislative landscape
Led the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) appropriations submission process on behalf of the PKD Foundation
Developed educational and promotional content, including legislative briefs, one-pagers, issue briefs, advocacy-related blog posts, newsletter updates and social content
Built and mobilized a grassroots network of advocates from across the country through an online activation system and email marketing and organized more than 10 virtual and in-person Advocacy Days
Developed an Advocacy Champions program of committed advocates to participate in year-round advocacy training and congressional engagement
