As you can see in the video above, we were thrilled to receive honorable mention for Boutique Agency of the Year by PRWeek, one of the leading global sources for PR and communications breaking news, analysis and insightful content.
For 21 consecutive years, PRWeek has been celebrating the best campaigns, leaders and agencies for their innovative work, and their annual awards event is often considered the “Oscars of PR.” In light of COVID-19, PRWeek’s 2020 Awards was a well-executed interactive virtual event.
PRWeek cited CURA’s turn-key ability to launch and support campaigns as one of the key qualities that won us the honorable mention in the coveted Boutique Agency of the Year category. We’ve not only launched but currently serve as staff for Advocates for Opioid Recovery and Mental Health for US, handling strategic planning, leadership, daily operations and stakeholder engagement for both of these award-winning campaigns. CURA’s ability to seamlessly integrate with our clients and implement all aspects of a campaign—from initial branding to execution—was recognized by the PRWeek judges.
Successful revenue growth was another metric that caught the judges’ eyes. “Revenue for 2019 was projected to hit $2 million on the back of long-term accounts including American College of Cardiology and Advocates for Opioid Recovery,” said PRWeek in their honoree write-up. “One notable win was a long-term contract with Behavioral Health Group Recovery.”
This is CURA’s second honor from PRWeek. In 2019, our won VP of Government Relations Scott Leezer won PRWeek’s “Most Purposeful Agency Pro” Award at their inaugural Purpose Awards in Chicago, IL.
