CURA Strategies, an integrated health care communications and public affairs consulting firm, announces the addition of Sarah Whitworth, Senior Vice President, to the company’s leadership team. Sarah is a strategic, mission-driven leader with more than 15 years of experience developing and executing advocacy and communications campaigns that raise awareness, influence behavior and shape policy at both the federal and state levels.
“The best solutions, products and campaigns live or die by the ability to persuasively communicate them. As a health care-exclusive agency, our effectiveness means better health care for patients—and Sarah truly understands that,” said Anne Woodbury, CEO of CURA Strategies. Her outstanding experience, deep passion and strategic leadership will elevate our team and make CURA even smarter and stronger.”
Prior to CURA, Sarah spent 13 years at another agency, leading strategies for clients across the health care landscape—including pharmaceutical companies, trade associations, nonprofits and foundations—with a focus on patient education and expanding access to health care coverage. Known for asking insightful questions and getting to the heart of complex challenges, Sarah helps clients set clear goals and craft the right mix of digital, earned, paid media and advocacy tactics to drive meaningful impact.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at CURA,” said Sarah Whitworth. “With so much change in the health care landscape, we have an opportunity to support our clients in ways that make a lasting difference. CURA is doing work that matters, and they’re doing it well.”
