On November 21, CURA packed up and boarded a train to New York City for PR News’ 2019 Top Places to Work and Agency Elite Awards show, where we were nominated for Agency of the Year and Media Relations campaign of the year.
Each year, PR News recognizes the agencies that turn client wins into great PR and honors the organizations that epitomize work-life balance, advocate for diversity and inclusion all the while giving back to the community. The 2019 Top Places to Work and Agency Elite Awards Luncheon brought together PR professionals, marketers and communicators to celebrate the accomplishments of their colleagues.
CURA was thrilled to take home the top prize in the Media Relations category for our work with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) on their 2019 Scientific Session. As the agency of record for ACC’s annual conferences, CURA has worked with the leading cardiology association to develop the press program and media strategy for their premier event since 2017, helping to improve media coverage numbers each year.
Additionally, CURA received an honorable mention for Agency of the Year, a huge honor in itself considering the stiff competition!
