CURA Strategies Supports the Arthritis Foundation’s Annual Jingle Bell Run

Category: CURA CaresDecember 7, 2019

The CURA team donned reindeer antlers, layered up, and walked/ran in the Arthritis Foundation’s 2019 Jingle Bell Run in DC on December 7 to help advance arthritis research and find a cure for the debilitating disease. The CURA Cares team included Jingle Bell Run committee member and team captain Kellsie Brannen, Erin Buckley, Jim Buckley, Kathie Buckley, Casey Dillon, Alex Dinkel, Shawn Meddock, Thy-Ann Nguyen, Rebecca Fantozzi, Finley Leezer, Scott Leezer, Sarah Sonies, Anne Woodbury, Connor Woodbury, and Tyler Woodbury.

Arthritis is the number one cause of disability in the country. Every day the Foundation works towards finding a cure for this disease that affects over 50 million Americans – 1 in every 5 adults and over 300,000 children – and the numbers keep growing. CURA was proud to be the fifth highest fundraising team, contributing to the more than $44,000 raised during this year’s Jingle Bell Run.
