CURA Strategies, an integrated healthcare communications and public affairs consulting firm, today announced the addition of Christine Diven as Senior Vice President, Life Sciences and Nutrition. Diven brings nearly two decades of experience leading strategic communications for pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations, as well as a scientific and clinical foundation that will strengthen CURA’s growing capabilities in the nutrition space.

Christine’s appointment builds on a period of significant momentum for CURA. The firm expanded its team by 62.5% during the first half of 2026 in response to growing demand from pharmaceutical, patient advocacy and healthcare organizations. In her new role, Christine will help lead the continued growth of CURA’s pharmaceutical and life sciences portfolio while expanding the firm’s ability to support clients working across nutrition, metabolic health and related areas.

“Christine’s appointment reflects both where CURA is headed and the caliber of expertise we are continuing to build for our clients,” said Anne Woodbury, Founder and CEO of CURA Strategies. “Her deep pharmaceutical communications experience, scientific foundation and ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives will strengthen our work across the board. As a registered dietitian, Christine also brings a valuable perspective that will help us expand our nutrition capabilities and counsel organizations navigating the intersection of science, policy, public health and consumer behavior.”

Prior to joining CURA, Christine served as Vice President at Burson, where she led integrated communications programs for leading biopharmaceutical companies, including Sanofi, AstraZeneca and AbbVie. Throughout her agency career — which includes roles at JPA Health, Porter Novelli and Weber Shandwick — she has developed communications strategies supporting clinical data and regulatory milestones, patient engagement programs and public affairs initiatives. Known for leading high-performing, cross-functional teams and managing multichannel campaigns, Christine brings expertise spanning earned media, digital strategy, data and analytics, stakeholder engagement and executive visibility.

Before beginning her communications career, Christine worked as a scientific researcher at Tufts Medical Center and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Communication from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

“I’m thrilled to join CURA at such an exciting and dynamic moment for the firm,” said Christine Diven. “CURA’s exclusive focus on healthcare, bipartisan credibility and commitment to mission-driven work deeply resonate with me. I look forward to leading high-impact programs for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients while helping expand CURA’s work in nutrition and other areas where evidence-based communications can improve health.”

With Christine’s leadership and the continued expansion of its team, CURA is further strengthening its pharmaceutical, life sciences and nutrition bench to support organizations advancing innovative therapies, evidence-based solutions and better health outcomes in an increasingly complex environment.
